Application Consultant

Position Description:
-Works on medium to large-sized (sites/locations) single or multi-product projects and usually involves multiple computer environments where design is moderately complex
-Analyzes customers' business requirements and application objectives develops an application design in products to meet customers' needs
-Estimates time frames quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement project, develops project plan incorporating all project variables
-Identify appropriate company resources are assigned to complete project tasks according to plan. Establishes criteria concerning deliverability performance maintenance design and costs
-Conducts periodic status checkpoints with customers and team to assess progress against plan. Performs reforecast of project variables as necessary throughout project
-Prepares weekly status reports on all project activities
-Serves as senior-level billable consultant, pre-sales support and post-sales technical support specialist when needed
-Acts as a liaison between customers and company
-May conduct training classes, both at QAD centers and customer sites

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, sales or computer science. Advanced degree desirable. Minimum 6 to 9 years experience as product support specialist or billable consultant
-Coordinates project resources according to the plan
-Provides guidance to other consultants regarding medium to large-sized implementation and retainer projects
-Provides technical guidance to technical support staff
-Design complexity may vary from fairly straightforward to moderately complex, with single or multiple products and involve multiple computer environments. Able to serve effectively as liaison between company and customers
-Excellent communications, presentation, organizational and planning skills
-Excellent interpersonal skills to work as team member
-Proficient PC skills


Pre-sales Consultant

Position Description:
-From an application viewpoint, assist in the development and execution of strategies to achieve sales in identified industries/markets or over a range of established accounts
-Co-ordinates activities and documentary preparation necessary to ensure the fulfillment of proposals within established timeframes including: analyzes financial reports and information and documents submitted by prospective clients to determine solution response strategy
-Coordinates activities and documentation necessary to respond to, including schedules and responses and estimates from third party vendors
-Provides in-depth assistance to customers and sales executives during pre-sales discussions
-Performs product demos and demonstrates product functionality
-Responds to questions from the potential customers
-Analyzes and evaluates customers current uses to adapt product functionality to client’s needs
-Maintains and continually upgrades understanding of products functionality
-Assists prospects in resolving application/business problems
-Participates in or manages internal projects, such as user conference workshops, inter-departmental communications, product support systems, etc.
-Conducts partner training classes, expanding partner’s product understanding
-Responds to client’s questions and concerns
-Provides application support and consulting support to companies in the pre or post sales process

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business, engineering or computer science.
-Minimum 4 to 5 years experience in MFG/PRO or any ERP
-Has business knowledge on any of the following industry: Automotive, Food and Beverage, Consumer Products, Medical, Electronics and Industrial
-Professional appearance and presentation required

Sales Manager

Position Description:
-Perform sales activities for QAD Strategic Accounts opportunities and to penetrate new customers. (including sales calls at executive level, product demonstrations, general presentations, site surveys etc)
-Develop business partnering relationships with system integrators, MFG/PRO distributors or third party software vendors for increasing market penetration and sales to QAD
-Keeping up to date with QAD products and industry trends is an important aspect of the role
-Understanding of the E-business market and being able to sell QAD new E-business products to the installed base
-Account coordination for their multi-site rollout process. This may include requests for quotation for additional sites or modules, localization price quotations, coordination of QAD service delivery team and / or subcontractors, system integrators for system implementation

Qualifications:
-Minimum 5 years sales and account management experience in IT company, especially in a multinational sales organization, with proven sales track record
-Good teamwork with internal colleague and external partners
-Matured communication & presentation skill with customers and senior management
-Good English Skill
-Knowledge of MFG/PRO preferable, ERP industry knowledge essential
-Energetic and aggressive
-Multi-national company experience is preferred
-Willing to travel frequently


Channel Manager

Position Description:
-Work closely with partner and drive marketing and sales programs with them
-Manage partners and assist them to achieve greater market share for QAD products
-Develop business partnering relationships with system integrators, MFG/PRO distributors for increasing market penetration and sales to QAD
-Provide Sales and Marketing Positioning Training to partners
-Meet with current partner and advice the value of QAD products and services
-Conduct regular partner insights and insight led engagements

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business, engineering or computer science
-Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in any ERP/Manufacturing sales, business development and channels management. MFG/PRO experience will be an added advantage
-Has business knowledge on any of the following industry: Automotive, Food and Beverage,  Consumer Products, Medical, Electronics and Industrial
-Professional appearance plus presentation skills required 
-Must be a team player
-Strong communication skills in English
-Must be able to work independently
-Must be willing to travel within China and occasionally outside


Services Engagement Manager

Position Description:
-Perform services sales activities for key accounts. (Including sales calls at executive level, services value proposition, services proposal and commercials, cash collection, etc.)
-Continuous Customer engagement - to ensure that regular contact is maintained with customers in line with the account strategy; to work with the sales organization on the account plan and visions.
-AMS (Application Management Services) sales
-Services Forecasting
-To work with PM on services agreement, work orders/SOW
-Interacts frequently and regularly with client and is adept at establishing solid working relationships with all levels, including senior management and executive.  Proactively suggests strategies for mitigating risk and optimizing business processes and functions.  Establishes regular communication channels to proactively provide information to client. Develops and maximizes opportunities for QAD from within the account, working in close cooperation with the Sales team
-Helps set goals and objectives for client and determines the tasks and steps necessary to accomplish them.  Is action oriented and able to motivate consultants and client to follow a defined course of action
-Presents oneself in a professional manner, with respect to both dress and behavior. Understands what appropriate information to share with a client is and what is not.  Proactively markets positive attributes of QAD and its solutions.  Presents an air of confidence and assuredness and is calm and stabilizing during times of stress

Qualifications:
-Graduate degree, or Bachelor’s degree
-At least 5 years of implementation or project implementation experience. QAD product experience is preferred
-At least 5 years sales or large account management experience with proven track record
-Experience on the business processes(best practices, issues, challenges) of manufacturing companies
-CAPM or PMP certification is preferred
-Strong communication skills in English

 

Quality Analyst

Position Description:
·Participates in project-level verification activities (reviews, inspections, and walkthroughs) to become familiar with the project requirements, design, etc.
·Works with business analysts and developers to identify functional test cases that will determine whether the project satisfies its requirements and that the actual behavior matches the desired behavior. Reviews developer-conducted unit test cases to determine the software product’s readiness for functional testing.
·Implements and executes project-level functional tests and integration tests. Analyzes results, generates defect reports in the project’s defect tracking tool, and verifies fixes.
·Implements and executes product-level system, installation, conversion, and performance tests. Analyzes results, generates defect reports in the call tracking system, and verifies fixes.
·Implements and executes 3rd party product-level installation and interface tests with MFG/PRO and other 3rd party products. Analyzes results and generates deficiency reports. Assists with the final validation report.
·Produces, maintains and reports applicable test metrics.
·Participates in homeroom organization meetings, reporting and activities.
·Participates in ISO Quality System Audits and ISO Quality System Meetings.

Qualifications:
·Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance, computer science, other field relevant to QAD’s core business (e.g., finance), or equivalent work experience;
·Experience in Financials, API/Integration testing, test execution, test defect management;
·Experience in working with global teams preferred, multiple products, multiple release environments desirable;
·Experience in client-server or web-based applications, preferably as quality analyst;
·Knowledge of one or more aspects of the manufacturing process, ISO or CMM is a plus; Broad application knowledge and deep knowledge in one or more domain areas; Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies; Excellent analytical and communications skills; Excellent computer skills.


SUPPORT CONSULTANT

Business Justification:
Across a variety of QAD products the Support Consultant provides solutions for application defects as confirmed and analyzed by tier 2 Global Support.  Solutions will be created following QAD Development and Support quality processes, standards and toolsets. The Support Consultant utilizes demonstrated expertise to handle the complex and difficult issues.  She/he will consult with the team lead, application developers and support analysts to determine the best solutions.  This role is in a structured teaming environment, requiring continued learning and practice of existing product knowledge to maximize preparedness for any new issue.

Position Description:
·Analysis, design, and development of applications using MFG/Pro and Progress
·Translate high level Business analysis into physical code
·Maintain defined quality standards and procedures
·Create / update documentation
·Write Unit and System test plans/specifications and perform testing
·Code review to ensure conformance to quality standards and specifications
·Regularly monitors all logged issues. Create, design, implement, test and merge solutions  into application baselines
·Liaise with Global Support and Development Teams on problem analysis and best solution
·Maintain proficiency in new product technologies enabling product support by training formally and informally.


Qualifications:
·University degree
·Experience supporting QAD products and related technologies preferred
·Minimum 5years technical/system experience is required (Progress, Java, Java Script, HTML, XML, Open Source technologies)
·Minimum 5years experience supporting applications across a global customer base.
·Demonstrated success in a customer service/support capacity.
·Excellent communication skills
